Buy online or around town.Cornucopia is a local popcorn company that offers fresh and packaged popcorn in many flavors. Find packaged gluten-free popcorn at Breed and Company or buy fresh at their Drag location. Ask which flavors are gluten-free, although the majority are. They label gluten-free on their packaged popcorn.
Bona Dea Bread baking mixes are now on the shelves of Whole Foods and Wheatsville. You may order their mixes online also. The scone mixes are a must-try!
Austin Java has updated their new menu to include a few gluten-free items. Here is what they sent me: “Any item without bread or flour (except our chicken soup is not gluten-free, because there is flour in it). Ask for no bread or croutons on salads. Seasonings are gluten-free. Other items that are gluten-free include: peanut soup, mashed potatoes, corn tortillas, tortilla chips, black beans, breakfast potatoes, avocado, corn, pico, tomatoes, veggies, queso, hummus, salsa, etc.”
Iggi’s Texatarian Vegan Trailer has added a gluten-free dish to their menu.
Mama Fu’s is opening up another location in Austin soon, off Brodie Lane. They have a gluten-free menu.
Mighty Fine Burgers are gluten-free (minus the bun, of course), and the fries are as well. When you order, tell them you have an “allergy” and they will highlight your name to avoid cross contamination. Read more here.

El Arbol has a new website and an special prix fixe menu that is available for a limited time only. Many items may be made gluten-free. El Arbol is gluten-free friendly and the staff is knowledgeable.
Threadgill’s has many gluten-free options (Thank you Kendra for letting me know!). Some of these include: char-broiled items (without sandwich bread). Several sides: any steamed vegetable, french fries, mashed potatoes, Texas caviar, black-eyed peas, black beans, steamed rice, turnip greens, and dinner salad.
Greenling is offering a Gluten-Free Thanksgiving Basket this year. Order from their website and have all the gluten-free side dishes delivered to your front door.
The Vegan Yacht is a new food trailer in town, located in the Eastside Drive In. They have many gluten-free options.
