Keep Austin Gluten Free: Saturday May 29, 2010

This Saturday is the first annual Keep Austin Gluten Free Dialogue and Vendor Fair. In honor of Celiac Awareness Month, this event was founded by the wonderful women behind Worldwise Grains, a local company that makes the cereal-like product called Arzu. People’s Rx is also a sponsor, with over 4 locations around Austin; they specialize in compounding medications (gluten-free), vitamins, organic cafes and offer a variety of gluten-free grocery products.

The event will take place between 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Food for Life in Cedar Park. The cost is FREE! Make sure and stop by to meet some of your local gluten-free entrepreneurs and fellow Celiacs! Help raise Celiac awareness for our local gluten-free community, as well as the national gluten-free community. I will be out-of-town because of prior arrangements I made for Memorial Day weekend, but I will be there in spirit!
